Walter Payton Autograph Opinions
What does anyone think of this Payton? Is it just rushed or no good?

I have a couple dozen items signed by him and while the Walter looks fine the Payton 34 is really bad. I would think that if someone was trying to forge his signature it would look better than this. For that reason I am guessing that it was a rushed signature, but that is only a guess.

Thanks guys. I kinda though the same as Rich, the Walter looked good but the Payton 34 was really sloppy. Maybe in a hurry or the pen slipped. Oh well, sloppy and good beats beautiful and fake!

I've seen that extended 3 before. I'm actually surprised you don't see it more with Payton's extreme up and down strokes in his signature. The rest of the sig and quick flow is right on the money. I have seen some good forgeries for Payton though, including Net 54 loser Jose Tijero who got some by PSA as well.
