I have these two Unused 1950's Louisville Slugger Store Model Bats of Ralph Kiner & Joe Cronin. I am looking for information to put an approx. date on them and also looking for a potential value. These bats are Beautiful! They are Unused and in mint condition. The Ralph Kiner bat is 32 inches, and the Joe Cronin bat is 35 inches.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for your time Ben jmac1585@gmail.com |

Both bats were made for players 12 to 15 years old. The s marking tells you that. The 32 inch bat is a tough sell but because it is mint and a hof er it should sell $60 to &75. The Cronin is still in that class but is at the top end in length so it should sell for $150, but could go higher to a Cronin collector IMO

I thought "s" stood for "special" which was an inferior make of bat?

Just use some logic, what manufacture would advertise one of their bats by saying, "this product uses inferior wood" H&B made 125 Pro Bats which were made of the finest woods available The made store model bats that had wood that didn't live up to the Pro standards down to their Little League Models and as such adjusted their prices Last edited by murphusa; 08-13-2013 at 09:56 PM. |
