I have just accquired these and am wondering if anyone can help with identication of the two non-rc cards. I have picked these up with intention of flipping them, possibly grading and sending to auction. All the fake indicators on the rc do not appear to be on this card and price paid for lot tends to lean me toward authentic cards. Estimated values would also be appreciated.
photobucket of these cards here http://s1193.photobucket.com/albums/...kamac69/cards/ I havent been able to figure out how to post pics directly yet Thanks in advance for all advice These cards were picked up from an on-line dealer, but will wait until I find out about verification before stating which one The rc is much whiter than pic although back is darker than front I intend to have graded but am leary of mailing from Canada May take to KSA just to see if authenticated and then allow whichever auction house to switch over to SCG Mainly looking for info on other two cards Last edited by kamac69; 02-12-2011 at 08:10 PM. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I don't think that any of them are legitimate based on the scans provided.

Many times it can be hard to verify the paper stock from a scan, but the stock color on your Ruth doesn't look right. If I were a betting man, I'd say that it has a better chance of being rejected by PSA or SGC than being authenticated. If you are looking to sell it for a price that is anywhere close to the value of a real Ruth RC, then you should send it in for grading to one of those two companies.
Rule of thumb... if you don't know whether a potentially valuable card is real or not and it hasn't already been graded, it's probably not authentic. Good luck, though. |

When in doubt, I err on the side of fake. This is especially true if you are buying raw cards off eBay from sellers:
in Canada in Ohio who found the cards in their Grandpa's attic or basement who bought the cards at an estate sale sellers on Craig's List. David |

I also think they are fake. Nothing about them looks right.

kamac,
You say price paid for lot makes you think they are authentic, where did you buy them from? Just wondering. David |

The upper one looks like it was cut from a Jim Rowe 4 on 1 card then beaten up a bit to age it.
