How do you make an avatar?

on this new forum? Haven't been able to easily figure it out. Thanks for any thoughts-

Click on "User CP", which is about 1 inch below the "Net54 Forum Homepage" icon on the left side of the page. Once on the CP (Control Panel), click on "Edit Avatar" on the left side of the page.

Upper part of this screen, left hand side, click on "User CP", which is the control panel. Scroll down to "Settings & Options". Click on "Edit Avatar". You can either download an image from your computer, or you can provide a URL to another site that hosts your images.

I have sold tech for almost 20 yrs and still don't know what the heck I am doing ....Heck, I keep clicking on your avatar to make it bigger as I want to see it better
