From the ones I can remember seeing I would also say the trademarked ones are more scarce. My lone type is Kelly and it does not have the trademark....however, I would be surprised if the scarcer trademarked ones would bring more than a tiny bit more in auction....just my opinion....good observation though |

My guess is hype--trying to make something special that hasn't viewed as special before, and just guessing at the correctness of the statement. Check out the D310 description of lot 836--contrary to what it says, there have been one, possibly two auction lots in the last ten years that had more D310's. |

Ted - interesting finding. Have you been able to determine if all subjects are available with both options? Alternatively, perhaps on initial release there was a smaller group that had/lacked the trademark, and then was added in as part of a larger release that had the opposite? |

JMHO - if there is a huge difference in population between trademarked and non-trademarked cards then you might expect there to be a premium on the trademarked cards. The premium might not be in the low perentage range. |
