Default Collecting (Soccer)

Last night, this segment aired on 60 minutes. Different sport, but interesting nonetheless.

The 60 minutes overtime segment.

I saw that segment. Many parallels to what we do.

I have seen an increase of interest for soccer cards within the New England area - shows, shops - just not sure about vintage!

Noticed 60 mins ad watching football yesterday - at least stickers and cards will make more money then beer over there

Interesting!

It has been a year or two since I have seen any 60 Minutes episode, but as fate would have it I stumbled across this segment and saw a good portion of it. I found it interesting that trading is still a large factor in collecting these stickers, and that it seems fairly common to use the sticker adhesive to actually stick these stickers into albums. Nice old school feel to the whole thing!
