Joe Jackson drafted today by Rangers (Yes, he's related to THAT Joe Jackson)
With their fifth-round draft choice (#160 overall) a few minutes ago, the Rangers selected All-American catcher Joe Jackson of The Citadel (he grew up in South Carolina). He is the great-great-great nephew of "Shoeless" Joe Jackson.
He supposedly has a championship ring/pendant of ole Joe's that was turned into a watch (or the other way around) years ago and has been passed down from generation to generation. Kinda cool. Last edited by BradH; 06-07-2013 at 03:56 PM.
