Why do so many people post things for sale without prices or pictures?

It's not really very hard to post pictures on this site, and a sale price just seems like an obvious thing to include when you're trying to sell something. Am I wrong?

My apologies to anybody who gets annoyed by seeing this exact post in every section of the B/S/T, but I wanted to make sure that it gets seen by as many people as possible.

It seems that there are more and more of these posts every day. If you want to sell me something, show it to me, and tell me how much you want for it. That's all I ask.

Why do people post the same question in two different bst forums? Why do people post discussion topics in the bst rather than the main forum?

One possible thought to that point- The worst offenders of the "email for scans" option are not regular participants or readers of the main board. They have learned to use this board (the BST) as a marketing tool and have no interest in anything we discuss. A post for discussion on the main board would never hit their radar.
