I am looking to buy a T206 O'Hara, St. Louis variation, in a PSA 1 or equivalent (I am perfectly fine with a "poor condition" of this card). Please email me at aamoniz@yahoo.com and provide a scan if you have one you would like to sell. Thank you in advance to everyone.

Thanks, I noticed the T206 O'Hara, St. Louis, one currently on Ebay. I would really like to buy one from someone on this Forum (this weekend if possible!!), but if there are no sellers here, I guess I have no options. Same goes for a low grade T206 Magie error, which I would really, really be interested in buying from someone on this Forum sometime this weekend!!!

It was me! It was me!

Yes, I'm sure I overpaid, but I tried for the Magie and was bummed I lost it. Had a snipe of $5201. Argh!
So I went after the O'Hara pretty hard. The previous one on ebay sold for around $1900, I think, though it presented much nicer than this one.
Anyway, I'm thrilled regardless. I've decided I want to try and get a couple of the biggies now by selling off most of my lower grade cards. This set seems to be getting more and more popular, and in a couple of years during the 100th anniversary, I think it's popularity will be through the roof.

on the O'Hara.... Rob! I don't think you overpaid for it. It's tough to find O'Hara's, that go for less. It's a hot market, and those rare variation cards are getting tougher to find, and are commanding big bucks.

Sucks you missed out on that Magie error. However the good news is that it did go to another board member.

Hey Rob,

You say you're going to be selling off your lower grade cards to fund the "Biggies"? When can we expect to see these ? Are you giving the board first crack at them?

I've got a request.....If you've got a regular T206 Magee Portrait (since this one will be the only one I'll be able afford) in a lower grade (PSA preferred), I'd be interested in that. Shoot me an email: crazylocomerk@yahoo.com. Thanks.

-E

Rob- i totally agree with your philosophy. i have been doing the same thing recently (selling common cards) in order to fund some of the rare variations...it's the way to go. you can always find the commons anywhere, but try to find a cheap o'hara...

Thanks for the encouraging words, guys. Always makes me a tad queasy when I pull the trigger on an expensive card.

I've listed a few beaters on ebay under the stunningly original ebay handle "robfouch." Sorry, Eric, I don't think I have a Magee. I've got a batch of about 50 cards at PSA now. Maybe when I get those back, I'll put some on the BST.
The ones I'm selling now are raw and lower grade, which seem to do a little better on ebay. With graded cards, it's easier to figure out an asking price for BST.

I would like to get my hands on a lot of, say, 50 to 75 poor to fair raw commons if anyone wants to get rid of some cheap stuff, please just email me at aamoniz@yahoo.com. Oh, and I still need an O'Hara, St Louis!!
