Are these prices on eBay for these variations unreal lately or what?

Any insight as to where I can find the Demmitt and/or Magie (graded, low-grade preferred) would be appreciated. Thank you!

Scott Gaynor just had one on E-bay earlier this week. I brought up the topic of Demmitt and O'Hara and I was informed that only maybe 10 come up for sale each year. I am also looking to purchase a Demmitt as I am fortunate to have the O'Hara to fill out my set.

...I purchased the Demmitt in an SGC 10 (Poor) holder for $999.99 as a Buy It Now on eBay. I think I overpaid a bit, but I just wanted to get it and move on with my life.

A few weeks later I purchased the O'Hara for about $600.00, ungraded on eBay -- the card later graded out as an SGC 20 (Fair) -- but I think I got a great deal because the seller's feedback was not terrific and the scan was terrible (made the card look fake).
