Consigning Cards to an Ebay Seller

If you're own feedback is ok, is there any advantage to consigning cards to an ebay seller? Do certain sellers like Scott Gaynor or Barry Sloate (hi Barry) get more money for the cards because of their reputation? Or do they just save you the trouble of listing the items yourself?

All opinions would be appreciated. I know Scott and Barry are honest, so they shouldn't feel embarrassed about chiming in on this thread.
