My question is this,is it common practice for auctioneers to figure in the shipping cost with the final auction price before adding the buyers premium and sales tax? |

An auctioneer, or more precisely auction software, is only supposed to execute a ceiling bid as necessary. If no real bidder pushes you to your maximum bid, then you should win a lot for less than that amount. Unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way as some bids are illegally shilled up. |
