Question about buying a M101-2

Guys,
I'm looking at buying one of my favorite Cubbies, M. Brown, in the M101-2 Sporting News series but not up to speed on their value or desirability in the market. Are these pages from Sporting Life, were they loose inserts, etc.? Looks to me like it's a sheet out of the publication and I'm having a tough time pulling the trigger on several hundred for it.
