Seems to me from the two cards shown that these were cut from sheets. If they were just horizontal strips you wouldn't see that vertical miscut back on Harris.

. I guess these were manufactured in horizontal strips and then cut. Their quality control wasn't too great though for their period of issue I guess we can't complain.....Anyone else have thoughts on how these were produced? Slow day at the hacienda...
