Default 100% Authentic? (CJ Joe Jackson)

Posted By: Matt

Maybe I need a new prescription:
http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-1914-CRACKER-JACK-shoeless-joe-100-AUTHENTIC-WOW_W0QQitemZ260261402407

Seller has $2000 Paypal protection and swears up and down it is authentic. Is it just my eyes?

I find it suspicious of the auction time. It looks like a 3 day auction. Every time I have seen the 3 day auction, Ebay pulls it. I am sure Ebay will pull this since it is not slabbed.

Plus, look at the other auctions they have done. Nothing of that sort of value or history.

Also, why would you put a card like that on Ebay? Send it out for grading and give it to an auction house. Same for the other cards.

I put it in My Ebay to see if it gets pulled. But it is worth throwing $20 on! hahaha

It's an obvious 1915 (176 subjects!) re-print...
Matt, save your $20!

I didnt bother looking at all his auctions. But the couple others I did look at were obvious reprints (besides the Jackson)

Are you bidding on the Jackson reprint or the index card?

six in one hand, half a dozen in the other.

1915's have the back info flipped, unlike the '14's. If you were to flip a 1915 horizontally, the text would be upside down. From his scans, this card flipped appears as 1914, but has the info of a 1915.

steer clear of this one.
