Stock looks too thin. Also the closeup of the T206 with the T3 in background doesnt show the bright colors and surface texture of an authentic T3. The card stock looks paper thin on the T206 cards too.


My vote......homemade copies

The BIN price is also a good indicator. Im sure the seller is playing dumb.

All six items were taken from a book called "The Treasures of Major League Baseball".
The book was discussed here several months ago. The t206 cards
all have a MLB stamp in the lower right hand corner of the reverse. The
backs are all Sweet Caporal. The type on the front is more along the lines
of what it should be rather than the jet black type that many reprints
have.

Here is an EBay listing for the book which gives a description of some
of the reproduced items the book contains including all six of those
framed items.

Taken from the sellers description. So if thinks they are repros
you can bet they are. He had a ton of info about the 3 players
and I'm sure could find info on the T3 & T206 issues as well and
not have a Buy It Now at $100
So ya got a novelty lot of Brown, Evers & Chance and they will
look nice on a wall and it didn't cost a fortune.

I think one of the most fun things about building a collection with eBay sales is rolling the dice on stuff like this.
