Half Grade Question

Hello,

I currently have a 1933 Goudey #127 Mel Ott that should regrade to be an 8.5...I am just mostly interested in PSA 8s and would rather trade down. How much extra do you think the card is worth if it is an 8.5 ...Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

To some extent, I think it depends on how many 9s there are, but I would guess an 8.5 would bring close to 50% more than an 8. If there was only one or two 9s, it might bring more. These are just guesses since the market for these half grades is so new in PSA circles. Generally, I think SGC 8.5s bring about 50% premium over 8s.
