Have been trying to ask seller if the blury card image say MAGEE or MAGIE. Some entertaining responses. You should try too!

Sounds like fun. I just sent in the following.

Does the card say Magee or Magie? It's priced as a Magie, but the blurry scan looks like a Magee. which would be dishonest.

Email the seller and say, "As a potential bidder interested in your autographs and rookie cards, should I assume they are as authentic as the T206 Magie?"

Well the BIN is $85 and the title line says MAGEE with the text saying Magie. However, it stands a better chance of being an authentic Magie than the 33 Goudey Ruth does being a 33 Goudey Ruth.

This is funny -- at the time I first posted, it was a $3000+ buy it now auction for a "Magie." Now it has magically been edited/revised into a legit auction. Good work everyone! Cleaning up eBay vintage card auctions one at a time for the benefit of all!

Text now also says "THIS IS NOT A MAGIE ERROR CARD" -- that is correct!

Although it is corrected, this seller is perfectly qualified to be an ebay scammer. His grammar is worse than that of a first grader and he writes in all capitals.

And the image has changed now -- it's no longer blury and you can read "MAGEE" clearly now. Very shady.
