If you go to any of ebay's vintage card categories, you'll see a large bar of options to the left. At the very top, you can select "original/reproduction/unknown." The feature doesn't actually seem to work as far as I can tell. But this is wrong on so many levels. First, it legitimizes putting reprints in the same category as originals. Second, it legitimizes the practice of disclaiming the authenticity of an item. I thought that was still against ebay rules, yet now ebay has a whole category dedicated to violating its own rules. Bizarre. |
