I do not recall seeing this card officially sited as a Cobb by the grading companies before, although many people state that it is (and it does look like him). My 2004 Standard Catalog does not site it as such but maybe the newer ones do? Seems odd that PSA would label the tag as a Cobb but not even list this version in their SMR or population report. |

This card should NOT be labeled the Cobb card even though it shows Cobb sliding. This is one of the generic action poses which command a far less premium than the actual players. There is actually a Cobb in this set so labeling this as Cobb is just ridiculous. God I love grading. dan. |
