Who Likes Big Borders? Seriously, I found these two in a large lot recently. These two were well over an inch and a half in width. Does anyone have an idea how large the borders can actually get? |

Brian, I nearly laughed out loud at what you just wrote. As I'm scrolling down your cards...I'm thinking "damn, wonder if he has a Chase with borders like that." |

Brian, thanks, much appreciated. I think the team will be better this year than last's but still not very good. No size and a slow PG does not help. Btw, is Tyler ever going to graduate? He's like 30, right? Seriously, this year they will be very, very tough. |

Those cards are obscene. Brian, I had forgotten that you collect large bordered T206s. They're so... larger than life. |

So-if these were cut at the factory with wide borders, then there must be some real narrow cards around, so cards that measure less than the "normal" side should not always be judged as trimmed. Interesting. |

Hi Brian, thanks for responding. My thinking is that if the T206's were cut from a sheet, if some were cut larger then some would have to be cut smaller. Did the size of the sheets vary? |

It seems the vast majority of the large border T206s depicted in this thread are oversized at the top border. Could it be that uncut sheets had an extra large border above the cards at the very top of the sheet? |

Here's a link to an old post that lists the sizes of about 500 T206 cards, almost all Piedmonts. |
