T206 Howard Chi. odd piedmont back

T206 experts...bought this at a show today for a decent price but was intrigued by the back. At first glance, looked like a run of the mill t206 piedmont back but notice the factory line...

The "d DI" in the line is above where it should be...are all Howards like this?
