Nice Chase Jeff...I think I was probably the underbidder on that card (if you got it in an auction in the past year)

Nice Bancroft Leon - I was the underbidder on that one. Cards from that set are extremely tough to find...

Well, this is an easier thread title to click on than the "show me your nuts" one.

I kind of click on that thread with a little bit of fear and eyes squinted for fear someone will take it in a different direction.

Not with this thread. A fearless click.

(great cards guys )

Owned that Rucker about 15 years ago. Never figured out what it was. What is it?

I seem to recall I sold it to FKW. Funny how these things circulate.

Yes, I did buy the Rucker card from Frank K. Ward. Here are some more "W" cards, although miscatagorized. More coming.

It took me a while to get to them, but I've got some strip cards on the way... I scanned Benny Kauff, and I've lost that blacklisted/banned thread, that was where I was going to post him. I'll get some W514s up in a bit.

But first, some boxers... with little Abe Attell there in the middle, one of the Blacksox money men.

And most of the W512 combinations. I'm missing the 'Cobb ex-manager Detroit' card. And someone gave the Babe a trim.. So I'm lacking one and a bit.

Brian,
To which set does that Larry Doyle belong? I've got the same picture on a National Police Gazette supplement from 1915(9 X 12).

Phil,

The Emil Meusel and all other cards in the posting are from the W504 set from 1925. I have forty or so cards, including duplicates (not of either Meusel) from the set.
