| Any good card shops in the Boston Area?

Posted By: Joe Jones I am traveling to Boston next week and would like to know if there are any decent cards shops in Boston? I will not have a car,and will be staying in the financial district. So it will have to be close enough for public transportation. |

Posted By: Jim VB Use stubhub.com for the tickets. It's either that or: 1: Know somebody or 2: Trust a scalper. |

Posted By: Miguel There is exactly one good card shop anywhere within public transportation's range, and you're lucky that it's right near the financial district. Check out JJ Teaparty's: |

Posted By: John Kalafarski Try fantickets.com for Sox tickets. Low prices. Ace is good also. Use the phone, it works better than online. |

Posted By: Larry Haven They used to run mail auctions years ago. Anyway, I won a Cal Ripken limited numbered signed item that was supposed to have been shipped along with a COA from the signing. They never sent the COA and never responded to mulitple requests to send it. I suspect they never had one to begin with and just put it in the description to get a higher bid. |

Posted By: bob donaldson Just down the street, about 4-5 stores, from JJ Teapary's is a place that I believe is called Bay state coins. I've not been there muc recently but they used to have a decent amount of vintage stuff. A lot of it is in the back, and you had to ask them to bring it out. I'm not sure what they are like now as when I was in there a year ago the guy (Joe) who did the BB stuff was out sick. It's certainly worth a try. |
