odd catcher's mitt

It's hard to tell about the glove since all you can tell is it is definitely a type used after 1890, but the spider mask he is wearing is pre-1920, so 1890-1920?

Actually, I think his hand was bitten by a rattlesnake and it's actually a leather gardening glove.

actually the picture and clothing appear to be from the 50's but the mask is older and the glove could be from the 20's
