KellyThe past few E92 Dockman Honus Wagners that I have seen for sale on Ebay were the throwing style. More often than not in the seller's description it states..."Throwing variation, the more difficult of the two Wagners from the set." This is there no matter the condition, so they are not referring to the idea that one is harder to find in better condition than the other.
On PSA's site they show the following info for total amount submitted.
These totals are all E92's not just Dockman.
Batting-29
Throwing- 37
Unfortunately SGC does not differentiate between the two styles on their pop report, which I have told them about a couple times and it hasn't changed.
So, going by this data, the throwing is more prevalent than the batting.
I was just curious to see if any of you have found one to be easier or harder than the other to find or if the statements mentioned above about "the more difficult one" are just useless fodder to get people to bid more. One just ended yesterday on Ebay with this type of wording.
