I don't know if it is just me, but the E98 Matty seems like a pretty tough card - tougher than the average E98. Maybe it is just that it is such a cool, unique pose that nobody wants to sell theirs. |

Also, isn't the lettering different than on other E98's? |

If you count each of the different six colors for the E98s as a separate issues, then each E98 color would be scarcer than the E103. |

Generally speaking doesn't the E93 set sell for a little more then E98? I dont really know which one is tougher then the other, maybe the pop reports shed a little light on this. I do think the E93's are a little more attractive then E98 though. |

i'd guess the e98s are 3 times as scarce as the e93s, even with all the colors. mathewson is a great pose with his big belt buckle. i'm less enthused about his e95 and e103 poses. |

The image of Mathewson on his E98 card is not unique. The E98 image is just a cropped version of his E125 American Caramel card. |

There are only 3 E125 Mathewsons known to exist. |

I think if we were to add E92, E107, E105, and 1914 CJ to the mix it would look like this: |

With only a handful of each in existence, the E125, along with the E107, are in a different league. |

e106 is indeed tough. I would put it in the second grouping with e103s as well. |

Though E125 and E107 are nearly impossible to obtain, I would think Mathewson's E224-2 is his toughest card. |

Wow that E98 graded by GAI is missing a pretty good chunk! Percentage wise how much of a card has to be present to be slabbed authentic? |

Good luck on the red Matty, Brett. I own the green, orange and blue but have never seen a red one. (this will surely tempt someone to post one). |
