Maybe it's an uncataloged PC of a Boston Daily American Souvenir. Normally the players name & position is printed inside the photo frame. Except for the text, it sure looks similar. |

It is cataloged. It is on page 55 in the 2007 SCD, 5 different known (Cady, Collins, Maranville, Wagner, Wood). I have seen about 3 of the Maranvilles on eBay over the years. It is from ca.1912 and there are a couple different designs but all say "Boston Daily American Souvenir" or "Boston American Souvenir" on the bottom border. The Maranville books for $600 NRMT. |

My guess has always been that this card was done in 1914, not 1912... |

Thanks. I had assumed that it couldn't be a Boston Daily American Souvenir because it didn't say "Daily". I have one (not Maranville) and it does say "Daily". |
