Default CTA grading card service-anyone dealt with them?

Posted By: Bob

Not planning on switching from SGC and GAI but I was interested in a card which was holdered in a CTA slab and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with their grading, good or bad.
Thanks.

but their website says..."The Worlds First Grading Company with a Computer Calculated Grade"

Grading done by a computer?

That would put an end to subjectivity.

And if the technology gets perfected, that could put an end to slabbing.

Imagine a hand-held computerized grader.... so you can drop in any raw card.... and the computer tells you the grade of the card.

Any of our N54 lawyers want to help me with the patent application?.... I think my idea is time stamped on this forum.

I bought one T206 card from them about five years ago (it was Steinfeldt in a grade of CTA 6) I sent it to GAI about a year ago and it came back with evidence of trimming on the right edge. That has been my only experience with them and havent heard of anyone else submitting to them.

Bought a Jerry Rice rookie in a CTA 8 holder and it crossed over to a BGS 8.5 about 3 years ago. My only experience.

And, Bob, that Delong Gehrig looked ok to me.
