I picked this up very recently on ebay and thought it interesting. The ebay seller says it's from the 1930's and from Angola. I think they needed to brush up on the American past time before producing this card. They should have known he was a lefty... The pics say it all. Best regards |

Not only is Ruth pitching right handed but that may be the worst likeness of him I have ever seen, but I like it nonetheless. One of the native languages of Angola is Portuguese, so I am guessing that is what is on the back of the card. |
