I have just over a hundred, 2 are HRKs, the rest scattered across the years. Great cards, if you're into the history of the game. Mails, Prothro, Jolly, Statz, Dillon, Lelivelt... wonderfull!! |

I am going for one of each year.....and when they had coupons I am going for one of each year of those....I think Zeenuts are still one of the most underrated sets out there.....there are some great poses.... |

I picked up all 12 of the catchers in the 1911 Zeenut set last year. I also am interested in any catching poses in the 1912 Zeenut and Home Run Kisses sets. |

I think they're all great looking cards. The earlier years maybe a little more then some of the later years, but I love them all the same. Below is one of my favorites, not because of the year or picture, but because of the time someone took to reattatch the original coupon to the front of the card. |

1911 Zeenuts- very actively, trying to collect creaseless cards. That's all I am going after in the Zeenuts. I do add an occasional HRK to the collection when I can get a good deal on it. |

I have been collecting them for years. I am trying for all HOFers and popular players. Some I have given up hope of having (Thorpe, Claxton, Arbuckle). |

I have 400 - 500 all years working on 11's and 12's about 25% and 50%. I am geting 11's and 12's graded now as many are quite nice. Also trying to get at lease one coupon for years 13 and up. Thanks to Leon and a Mastro lot from a few years back I have a decent start. I do have 3 dup 1927's SGC 60's and 1 dup 50 (will keep the Hooper 50)if anyone wants to trade for a 20's year I don't have. Missing 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 28 & 29. Have about 18 Kisses but most are trimmed to inside border. Did anyone on board get the large Lealads lot of 1250 or so Zeenuts? I dropped out near the end - too late and hard to figure out what to do with them if I got them they went for about $25 a card. |

And who can forget the 1918 series ? I think they're probably the nicest looking...probably because of the red borders. |

There was a nice one offered a while back. Mark Macrae also had one for sale a year or two ago. |

There was one offered on ebay a few years ago in a lot that was glued down to a magazine. Wish I'd been in a position to chase that one... |

I have a question regarding the grading of Zeenuts. Obviously the cards are fully gradeable if the card had no coupon to begin with (first two years of issue) or if the coupon is attached. I for one think it's wrong for grading compaines to assign a numerical grade to a card unless it hasn't been trimmed. How do others feel about this. I don't want to hijack the thread but I am curious about this. I collect Zees from the first two years and Zees with coupons (only a few here). I shy away from the others unless they are of a desireable player (HOF or otherwise highly collected player - O'Doul, for example). At this point in time I think that it would be really challenging to complete any year from this issue unless you were to buy a large lot of cards (to give you that jump start). With the popularity of these cards increasing so is demand... I think everyone can figure out the rest. |

For some strange reason SGC returned my 1913 McCredie ungraded and unslabbed for "size" reasons. The card had the coupon neatly trimmed off but otherwise was fine. Never could figure that one out... |
