Displaying graded cards on shelves - help please

I found a bunch of shelving at an estate sale over the weekend that's perfect for displaying my graded cards. But I don't want to just set the slabs on the shelf and lean them against the wall.

I'm looking for those little stands that I've seen people set screwdown cases in. I'm assuming graded cards would also fit in those.
Would like to buy in bulk.
Can anyone recommend a good dealer in display supplies?
For those who get their cards graded, how do you display them? Or do you?
All help/advice would be much appreciated.

They dont do real well with larger slabs (ie exhibits) but are fine for use with standard size slabs.

Does everyone display their cards? I've seen some threads in the past showing some displays. I've also heard mention of people locking their cards away in vaults.
I guess most of mine aren't really valuable enough to bother with that.

lee behren (the nice behren ) has a sick display in his basement. i don't know if i could display my 16 slabbed cards in sunny cali though.

The room I have isn't in a basement and some sunlight does get in. But I keep the shades down so people can't peek inside. Not too terribly bright -- meaning the sunlight, not me.
Should I be concerned about having them sit out?
I'd hate to have to lock them away.

I use generally use albums though I now have a few oversized cards (exhibits) and some less valuable type cards on display in my office on some bookshelves (I will try to post a picture tonight if interested).

Rob,

I used to display my cards in a room with shades that allowed some light through. The room was not dark, but not bright either. Some cards faded, especially the red ink. If you want to display your cards, I would recommend thick shades or curtains that make the room look like midnight.

Jeff,

I now use the archiver binders (binder and slip cover). The album actually pictured above is another type of binder that they used to sell (similar to what they now call a binder in a box). The largest size (2.5 inches) will hold up to 10 sheets of sgc cards (i.e. 40 cards). Its a great way to store your cards - though I will note that I store mine flat rather than upright. The light impressions binders are very similar though you cant get them customized. I also dont think they end up being that much cheaper. As mentioned, I will post some pics later.

I display, pictures, artwork, books and autographed balls. The cards are locked in safety deposit boxes and safes. Not a great way to display them, granted, but it gives a little piece of mind...
