Introducing a girl that is more valuable to me than any piece of cardboard! Our first child, Elena Nicole Feagin was born at 7:25PM on Thursday, July 6th. She weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce, and a long 21 1/4". She is a very alert, smart, determined, and strong baby. She's not very fussy at all though. As I was rocking her to sleep last night for the first time, I realized that was the greatest moment of my life. With that said, I will be going on a hobby "paternal leave of absense". I will be back, just not for a little bit Enjoy the pic!

The link you provided is password protected so I couldn't see the pic.

Of course, I completely expected to see a few surface wrinkles possibly even on or near the face, and a hint of paper loss on the backside - both igniting the grading debate! lolol.

Congrats anyway - I will look for the pic again if you post the pw.

Rest assured that the "greatest moment of your life" is solely the first of those, in a long series of them; culminating when your baby is an independent, viable functioning individual who doesn't need you, only wants you. This is my measure of my success in my life. I have 2 girls in their 30s.

James, in life everyone will tell anyone that their baby is cute just to be nice, but in your case it really is true. You have a really pretty baby girl and she is lucky to have you for her Father, even if you are an Orioles fan! I will need to send her an Ichiro jersey for a gift and show her the light.

Thanks everyone! I was the youngest in my family and this will be my first time living with a youngin'. I had my first 4 career diaper changes today/tonight Anyway, here are the happy mum and pop. FYI Rhys, my wife is a native Washingtonian My baby Orioles clothes are all ready for her appearance tomorrow.
