Actual Set History

Which sets have actual documentation from the company they were produced by? Or is all the data we have about the sets from research & speculation with facts?

Exxample, Is there evidence from the American Tobacco Co. that the T206s were produced and distributed from 1909-1911, is it possible they were still produced in 1912.
