hi, seems like some knowledgable people in here about baseball. wonder if someone could tell me or direct me to a source to find out what the worth of some tickets would be. i have 2 tickets(that were unused)to a 1931 world championship game between philadelphia athletics and the st. louis cardinals. these tickets are in excellent condition. no tears, no holes, no bends. great shape. and they havent been torn apart, guess they couldnt make the game that day, lol. if anyone has any ideas please let me know. thanks alot! |

Hi Linda, do you plan on keeping the tickets or selling them?. As far as an appraisel from a card shop I don't think so. You have many options. |

Hi Linda- unused World Series tickets from that era are desirable and very easy to sell. Why do you need a cardshop to write you an appraisal? Do you need it for insurance purposes? If you are looking to sell them, auction is the best route and you would likely be pleased with the results. |

I just uncovered an old family album with an unused 1940 Crosley Field, Cincinnati, Ohio World Championship Games ticket for Game 1. Is ther any value to this? |

Hello. I just found an unused ticket from the 1919 World Series which is signed on the back "Hope no one finds out what we did, Eddie Cicotte." Does this have any value? |

Bob - the value would, of course, depend on the condition. heehee. Plus that pesky writing on the back would result in the "MK" qualifier from PSA. |
