How rare are these cards and do they carry a premium if they grade sgc 50 or 60? |

I know they are tough to find above a 50 and if your talking about the 1909's that were hand cut, they may not even assign a numerical grade. |

The frameless 1909 backs generally will not grade. The framed 1909 backs "might" grade depending on the individual grader (PSA & SGC). Several of us spoke to SGC at nationals about a standard treatment of 1909s, but no resolution was reached. |

I am not sure at this point in time if SGC is even slabbing 1909 Obaks which appear hand cut, as "Authentic." Does anyone know? I know GAI is taking the logical approach and slabbing the handcut 09s as authentic and applaud them for this step inasmuch as it estimated up to 65% of all 1909 Obaks can be considered as "hand cut." |

When I spoke w/ SGC in Chicago, they said an AUT grade was possible on hand cut Obaks. I remember Leon pushing them to give a numeric grade -- any updates on that Leon? |
