Walter Johnson card prices

Anyone else notice that Walter Johnson cards have shot up in the past couple of years faster than other notable players in the same sets? It is especially noticable when you look at the price the t206 portrait is commanding. That card is nearing Cobb prices.

Any ideas on why this is? Also, the Christy Mathewson cards seem to be getting much lower prices, at least when you compare him to Walter. Anyone else notice this or am I off base?
