Not only am I a caramel novice, I am also a linking novice. I thought this was a pretty card and seemed like a decent deal. Does this card look legit and is it a good price? |

You did fine. Not everyone likes those, because of their mostly generic designs, but I do and I know a few board members that do too. My guess is it would go a little higher in an auction that was run for 7 days. regards |

I bought a Baker from the same set not too long ago and asked the same ?? from this board. I think you did all right and did not overpay. After I bought mine though I realized this is just a "generic" set as Leon said. Images on the cards are not specific to the player pictured. Count yourself fortunate as a lesson learned that really didn't cost much. If you really like the card though than what a great buy! |

Like Leon said, it's legit. It's an American Caramel E91b . . . perhaps a tad overgraded by the seller, based upon that large stain. |

It depends on which series of the cards you have. offhand, Plank and Ruelbach are 2 I can think of where the cards are derived from well-known images of them. |

The E91s are still one of the few caramel sets to feature Big Train. Also, add a couple Mattys, a Wagner, a Speaker, and a Plank......it's actually not too bad. |
