Saw this interesting photo... what caught my attention was the unusual size of the baseball and the caption 'Indoor Baseball League'. Anyone know anything about this strange variation on the game? |

I remember running across Spalding guides to Indoor Baseball when looking for the "real" Spalding guides. The Library of Congress has several Indoor guides for public viewing here: |

Played just like baseball, but usually in a gymnasium. The ball is much softer and larger. Rules sometimes included; any batted ball that hit the ceiling is an out, a batted ball that hits the far wall on the fly in fair territory is a homerun, etc. Rules were adapted to facility. |
