Default Need Help on Explaining a Fake!

Posted By: James Feagin

I recently came across an auction where a person bought an "original" Ty Cobb t206 for $199 BIN. I felt it my collector duty to explain to him how and why I felt this card is fake. However, it was kind of hard for me to put into words. Succintly, how is this card a fake.

It's a modern reprint. Succinct enough? If you need to know more, the paper is wrong and the printing is wrong, especially the "Cobb, Detroit." Wrong font was used.

Easiest way is to place the image next to several graded red versions...it should quick stand out as BS

It doesn't help that the seller stated " my lose (sic) is your gain"
