I've always wanted to own an R-304 diecut -- probably for 20 years. I almost won the Luke Appling that was in the Barry Halper auction, but was outbid by just a few dollars. |

I have handled a few of these, but they are extremely tough to come by. I think for $500 you did pretty well. Hubbell is much more desirable than your average HOFer. Most people are content with only owning one example from this set. I have always been intrigued by the generic bodies with the head of the actual player incorporated into the design. They date from 1934-35, and there is a wrapper or two that have been found from the Dietz Gum Co. A dealer even found a game board from the set in an antique shop-it is advertised on the wrapper. |

It can be found in issue 16 of vcbc which is one higher than i have up to so i cant read it or help you out |
