Can anyone tell whether this $100,000 does or does NOT include the 20% buyer's premium??

http://cgi.liveauctions.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6534017036&category=28270

In other words...

is the buyer going to end up paying $120,000 for this card??

If so... Wow.

The $100000 is before the 20% add on. The Ruth card is costing the winner $120000 out of pocket.

I agree that the price is very impressive. It will be interesting to see whether the NM-MT Josh Gibson RC will exceed that.

The premium is not included the card did sell for 120K. Why is the card labled sporting news if it is blank back?

The Sporting News is the generic name for the set. Doesn't really make sense. It's like calling the t206s, t206 Piedmont w/Sweet Caporal back, etc

Jay

I like to sit outside drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.

I guess the Baltimore News Ruth doesn't look so bad by comparison.

Actually to be picky, the card sold for 128,250 because of the sales tax that I don't think there is a way to get around (other than having a resale tax id)

Plus shipping.
