Topps had the T206, T205 and Cracker Jacks........NOW they have the T3 collection.......a good friend of mine emailed me this proof.....they are enclosing 'bought back' T3's in the boxes as well (guess Kit Young is in a frenzy buying for them). So for the real T3 collectors out there, get ready for the prices on those to skyrocket. Maybe Mike Wheat is helping them with some of his reprints.....

I dunno, the card leaves with kind of a flat feeling. The gray boarder doesn't look right with a photo in it. It wouldn't be that hard for them photoshop it and make it look like a painting. It would add a lot of character and more similarity to the original t3s if they did that.

I like to sit outside drink beer and yell at people. If I did this at home I would be arrested, so I go to baseball games and fit right in.

I wonder if the major card companies lose customers by turning on collectors to vintage cards? Or if that's equalled out by vintage collectors buying their neo-vintage offerings?

Just another of many marketing gimick's by the card companies to hold interest in new cards...making NEW cards look OLD and vintage... I'm not fooled!! What's next from them..DAMAGED inserts to provide a wide range of grades!!??

Wish the card companies would get back to the basics..
several sets with multiple series..gee.. maybe I would buy some then..

I kind of like it - just like I liked the Topps T206s. Id rather buy stuff that is a knock off of true vintage material than any of the glow in the dark cards that I can see my reflection in.

I've always thought the concept of a living set was an interesting one. This is where you start the season with your basic set and as players get put on the DL, you pull them from the set and replace with their call-up. This would create short prints, demand and interest that companies so crave all throughout the season.

I like that idea Jay. I also think it would be neat to be able to follow trades, which I think would provide midseason interest in cards. Also you could add year highlight cards towards the end commemorating no hitters, records etc., and All-Star cards could come out in July.
