thought id throw this auction out for the board members- it's an old scrapbook from the 30's with a couple of fro joy cards thrown in (not my auction but it looks like a decent buy)

Isn't this the same scam that's been talked about before. This is the way a reputable dealer ended up with a Fro Joy set he thought was real and they ended up being repro's.

Nice observation Jim. Same bat time same bat channel. Those Fro-Joys don't look as good as the fakes that got bought before though. The other ones I could barely tell. These look too artificially white, imo, and from the scans I would be willing to bet a buck they are fake.....regards

The story doesn't fit. Were the cards loose in the scrapbook? Anything with the name "Ruth" on it generally gets looked up in a price guide, not listed on eBay with a BIN of $60. I vote fake.
