I found a few of these adhered to an old scrapbook page but with a 1939 Centennial stamp. I believe these were issued in 1939 with the Centennial player stamps to recognize the old players maybe? My question, are we sure they were issued in 1915? What is the proof? I am picturing a few of the players and the 1939 stamp that was with them. Dan. |

I think Gene Cocreham is the best indication that the set was probably made between late 1914 and early 1915.He had basically 1 season,1914 when he was a relief pitcher for the Miracle Braves and he went 3-4 with no postseason appearances. |

Great! thanks to all for your help. I like the 1915 date better, I just thought it was strange to find that 1939 red ad stamp with all of the postaco ones. Thanks again and Happy Holidays! Dan. |
