There are many fewer N173 poses than N172 poses. Part of the reason is that N173s were only issued in 1888 and 1889 so cards like spotted ties, Brown's Champs, which were 1887 issues, have no corresponding N173. However, there are some N173 poses that are currently unknown on N172s---Kelly in street clothes is one example. There has been no McPhee N173 found to date but that could always change as there is no reason why he did not have one. |
