Hello fellow vintage collectors!

I am trying to purchase a T206 Young Bare hands shows PSA 2. What is a reasonable price for this? I searched Ebays completed auctions, and found some prices, but I would like to hear some of your expert opinions.

I paid just under $400 for a psa 4. So I would guess somewhere around 150 with a common back. Just a guess though.

I should also add, that if you are planning to bid on the psa 2 young that is currently listed on ebay, I would personnaly bid conservatively - it does not look like a particularly nice "2" to me and I think you could probably find better examples.

I tracked T206 sales on ebay for several months (May through July), here is the data on this card:

PSA 3 246.50
PSA 2 168.50
PSA 3 225.00
PSA 3 300.00
PSA 4 430.00
PSA 6 1905.00
GAI 5.5 799.99
PSA 4 313.05
SGC 50 386.00

I use 40% as a rough guide of price difference in 1 grade, which works moderately well for the lower grades. The price of the 6 seems very high. So, the 168.50, if it were a 3, would be 40% more, or $236. That's at the lower range of the actual 3's, so that would indicate to me that the 2 was somewhat a bargain. Expect to pay a little more.

BUT: buy the card, not the holder. I've spent more for a SGC 30 than a PSA 3 of the same card because I liked it better. There is great variability in card grading.
