I have been told by Rob Lifson that the Spring Robert Edward Auction will feature a:

1914 Baltimore News Babe Ruth card!!!

Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up for those of you who collect those crappy "minor league" cards.

(I have no clue whether it will be blue or red, nice or creased, etc.)

it's the same one that has passed around the last few years....could be wrong....but we'll see if it has a moderate chunk out of the lower left corner....still a great card that I wish I could afford.....later

Rob tells me it is the blue version with the schedule on back...

and he says VG-EX condition.

I guess this could still be the one you are talking about.

There are close to a dozen of the Ruth cards known, most in blue, a few in red. It is most likely a different card.
