Picked this up at the last National. I know Dan M. picked one up too, albeit with a different colored back and not as miscut. It's about 3 1/2" x 5" and very thick. Anyone else seen any of these? regards all (this has no restoration done to it |

I don't remember, and if I guess which one Dan has, I will surely be wrong? We got them from Ron V.......If Dan's reading the board maybe he can chime in....regards |

I should have bought both of them, I am an idiot. Leon's has the much neater back, I picked mine because it had a full border. |

I know a collector who bought a similar one of a different Hall of Famer on eBay. In the eBay auction the item was represented as an original photograph, which it clearly was not. Whether it was a legitimate trading card or trade card is a different question, and one that was never asked and perhaps even thought of by the buyer. |

I must admit that I don't understand how the backs and fronts match up. The backs aren't advertisements. They are what would be printed on, or otherwise included with, the box that contained that brand of photographic negatives. The printing includes instructions for use of the negatives. I'm curious what a picture of a baseball star is doing on the other side. |

I must admit that I was suspicious of these when looking at them because something didn't seem right but the edges look worn over time and not all at once. I bought because I know the seller very well and have trusted him for years. dan. |
