...but you just bought a reprint. Even if you were not aware of the authenticity of this particular card, take a look at the seller's negative/private feedback and some of the other items he/she is selling -- they provide some very good clues. |

Teh type set of the card is different and the corners have been artificially worn. Sorry but no masterpiece here. |

David included the one for beginning collectors. This seller violates just about every rule there. |

I have looked around and have found a lot of T206 Graded cards w/o #s so I don't think the number is a problem, but I have contacted the seller and am looking for answers regarding the wierd front and back. |

Bill's point is about the best. An authentic T206 Ty Cobb can't be bought on eBay for $56. |

I am far from the expert on reprints, but when someone tells me a high end card like this is being sold as a reprint, I believe him. |

that he's selling as a reprint.duh! why bid and not pay.i agree, this seller is a con man and wants to make it look as if he is ignorant, and the card COULD be real. but this seems to be the logic here...i'll pay if it's real,AND WON'T IF ITS FAKE. it would be smarter to ask ????'s first and then scammers like this guy wouldn't list this garbage.but every day there is somebody bidding on scam autions hoping to get a REAL card, and resell it and make profits. sorry but you paid $56.00 for a 2 cent reprint. |

...one of the reasons I take it so personally when someone bids $50 on an obviously fake Wagner, Plank or Cobb is that they're assuming they have made a great find and that intelligent collectors out there didn't bid on it at that price because they just didn't see it in time. |

PSA 3 and PSA 2 cards are really quite nice. It seems like there should be better grading definition on the low end. |

it looks like a $56 lesson. Either that or take a hit with a negative feeback. As dishonest as the seller is he did say that he was selling it as a reprint - hes probably making it sound real so he gets the $56 from you. tough lesson. |
